Dr. Stephenson attended and presented academic papers at many international conferences. She has been active in many civic organizations such as the American Association of University Women (AAUW), the Federation of Asian Women’s Associations (FAWA), and the Pan-Pacific and Southeast Asia Women’s Association (PPSEAWA).
