Abstract: Dr. George K. Kallingal is a Professor Emeritus of Educational and Developmental Psychology at the University of Guam. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences, including the United Nations conference in Manila and the UNESCO conference in Paris. Among his many accolades, Dr. Kallingal is also the recipient of the Karl Houser Award by the American Psychological Association at Washington, D.C., which he was awarded for his successful efforts in enhancing psychological practices in Guam. He retired from UOG in 2003, but the positive impacts of his teachings continue through his lasting contributions to the university and the community at large.
