| Abstract: | University of Guam Society of Emeritus Professors and Retired Professors (SEPRS) member Milagros K. Moguel was born in Manila, Philippines of Chinese and Philippine descent, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education before traveling to San Francisco State University to earn a Master of Arts in Home Economics. After teaching in Manila for two and a half decades, she and her family moved to Guam, where she taught as a middle school teacher, and afterwards as an instructor of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Guam. Her passion for teaching contributed to the educational enhancement and strength of our island community. |
