Abstract: Born January 12, 1854 in Potosi, Wisconsin Captain Edward John Dorn served as the Commandant of the U.S. Naval Station and Governor of Guam from 1905 to 1910 based upon his experience as Acting commandant and governor of American Samoa in 1900. He would go on to serve as the Secretary of the Navy Relief Society during the First World War
Description: The Collection is stored in two archival boxes that are half a linear foot in size. Box 1 contains 41 folders while Box 2 contains 65 folders for a total of 106 folders. The contents of the two boxes are correspondence on various matters pertaining to the time period during Dorn's governorship of Guam. Extent 1.0 Linear Foot.
